How to improve the quality of the shadow of light in the headboard of the bed?

I have already risen to 4000 s / pix and Sampling rate to 10000 and still the same. As 1000 s / pix and Sampling rate 1.

Post a picture and which kernal are you using? You shouldn't need an insane sample rate that high.

Knowing what kind of lighting you are using would help.

As mentioned a screenshot would help to better judge the specific issue.

Nevertheless in general:

You can use the "region render" tool not only to just preview some areas but also to focus rendering to problem areas.

Note: to actually show the effect only a small square of the shadow area was marked.
Note: to actually show the effect only a small square of the shadow area was marked.

step by step:
- Let the image run to around 1000 samples in PMC (depending on your scene)
- use the region render tool to mark a shadow area with noise
- update the "max samples" input field in the kernel settings with the additional amount of samples that should be done in the selected area

after you are happy with that region you can either
- select another trouble area that you want to focus on
- switch the region render off and let the whole image render again.

Important:
Make sure to adjust max samples after each new selection.

this also means: changing the max sample values will NOT restart rendering but just add more samples to those allready done.
