hi,
i'm doing a project of a building interior that has some gold surfaces. Sometimes these are located behind a glass. Here's my problem: i'm rendering in DL ambient occlusion lighting in order to have short rendering times (i'm doing some stills and a 3 minutes animation video), when the gold material is behind a glass it just appear black. Fake shadows in the specular material is checked. I tried some workaround but they were not convincing. The main problem, imho, it's that to get the "gold effect" you have to set up a glossy material with black diffuse and yellow/orange specular so when this thing it's behind a glass it just shows the diffuse color.
that's some pics:

gold with glass

someone knows some tweak to solve this?
thank you

hi,
try to slightly increase the glossy and specular depth in the kernel settings until you find the correct behavior
