What do you think about the new logo? I hate it, but apparently I'm the only one...

got to know about this only 24 hours ago & now I can't wait for it to start! =)
ghm, personally I do like that logo - simplicity is something that resonates,
(but I agree it could be slightly more..refined, no critics, just observations =)

I think it's better than the previous cliche eye logo.. Pair of eyes, you know stereo vision, would have been something new.

This is the explanation for it, apparently was inspired by the Pantheon... But I still don't get it.

I couldn't make it on time..
So there wasn't that big news there.. most importantly the release date stays the same.
Biggest question imo is, that will Valves HTC VIVE, steal the markets from Oculus? Valve has - Steam. Will Steam support Oculus? Or will there be any difference what HMD is used, which would be the best case? "Betamax vs VHS" competition would be lame.

Well, they finally revealed the Oculus Touch Half Moon controller.
But the fact that the Oculus Rift will be bundle with the Microsoft Xbox One controller, and NOT with it's own Oculus Touch it's a very risky move IMO.
Also, again no words on prices and specific release date, rather then 1Q 2016...

I agree. Of course Oculus should bundle their own controllers..
Watched the replay of the livestream this morning, very exciting times to be interested in VR. I think the controller decision was a smart move and I think it's possible we can expect Oculus support for the Xbox One now that there's some form of partnership going on there. I expected Microsoft will announce it at E3 if it's true.
The Touch controller looks cool, I've seen a few people who are concerned about the length of time between the Rift release and the Touch release but if the estimates are accurate it's 6 months at most between the start of Q1 and the end of 1H of 2016. Although not bundling it with the headset is a bit disappointing.
I like the new logo, definitely better than the old one
