New Version Very Slow to Activate

Hello,

I just installed the latest version of OcDS and it works fine. The new UI will take some getting used to though.
I've found that it takes a very long time to activate and it locks DS while it is doing it.
When I launch DS I have to wait a minute or 2 before I can do anything while Octane activates.
Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Actually OcDS is very slow when connecting to Octane Live for any reason.
The Live DB materials never load their names so the database is not searchable.
And it takes a long time to download any material.
I never had any problem on the previous version.

I have not experienced this. Did you clear the Live DB cache as told when you installed the new version?

I am not having speed issues when activating. But I cleared the liveDB and then did the download option before I started work.

After that each load of Daz is pretty normal speed and I can begin work in a few seconds.
