For some strange reason when I try to upload scores they won't upload I don't know really what it is, but I was reading the forum about the 980 ti in the licensed and saw that someone posted a score of the 980 ti that was lower than my own averages. This is all on stock clock as well, no overclocking has been done by me what so ever. What I got straight out of the box. (Besides a slight adjustment to the fan curve)
EVGA GTX 980 ti SC Core clock-1290MHz Memory clock- 3304MHz and around low 60s for temps on 70% fan power. Out of 5 benchmark tests, 3 of them had scores of 127, then 126, and 125 (I think the reason the others were low is that I had some programs running that use up my GPU)
I'll be getting 4 more of these hopefully later this week and I'd love to show everyone how closely the 980 ti compares to the Titan X, but my results won't show up so I hope I can figure that out.
As for the set up I have a 980 ti and a Titan. 2 of my three monitors are plugged into my 980 ti via display port running 2k on a 27in and the 3rd is plugged into my Titan via DVI (I would do display port, but there is a problem with start up that an image won't display but never mind that).
I haven't been able to purchase Octane yet so I'm not in the licences user forum, but I can't wait to get this setup up and running.
Shout out to Tutor, Notiusweb, and itou31 (to name a few) for all the posts. I'm new to this thing so the experiences that you guys shared, and hopefully keep sharing,
Sincerely,
A Polish Ginger

i was planning 2 Titan X but now 3x 980ti seems like a better choice.

it's nice to see how those 980Ti models can keep with titanX, even having less cuda cores =) those cards are way better value if You do not neet 12GB of vRAM =) thanks for data!

@azen
When I press the Upload button on the bench it freezes for a second or two then the button becomes "clicked", void of color. I then wait to see my submissions on the bench to find out of my six, as of now, not to be there. So no error messages or anything at all it just sits there at the screen cap I showed below.
BTW 6th test came out as 125.88

Then it worked fine. Only one upload per result can be made.
Your result is in the list (which gets updated only once every 5min or so): http://render.otoy.com/octanebench/summ ... GTX+980+Ti

Well my original tests were like 3 days ago, but as long as there is something there then it is all good
