that's bad really bad..

Guess it would be hard to make a case worldwide forr TT knowing how big that company is & all the mess in the world =)

..but I hope at least users, will wote with their money & TT will fail to sell them..anyway, this company dropped so low..

Interesting... I'm afraid that I'm in the "Yes they copied, but I don't see the concern", category.

I see this kind of thing all to often, and I've been in lawsuits regarding it. You are legally allowed to copy anything you want. As long as there was no cut and paste from original documents, you are free and clear. In terms of IP, those documents are all you actually own.

On the other hand, I think very little of the MoFo's who do this kind of thing. Can't you guys do your own work or something? I mean really?

I only have a sealed TT CPU cooler, but I think I'll move on and replace it. If they aren't even doing a good job of copying, that means they don't understand what thy are doing, and I don't want burned up PC that smells.

exactly that's the point- they copy & sell S*&^ for other for lower price, but the end user is hurt, as he buys the end product that doesn't deliver..

..no about those companies that are being copied, well, caselabs is small, even fractal design is small company - they do all the intelectual work, they build trust for users, do R&D -that costs money..

..now that big company doesn't pay for design, doesn't pay R&D..jsut copy paste (& do that bad) & sell for lower price..

..small companies, that sell good stuff with quallity loose income & the looks of their products is tied to sh%ty quality that those big companies mess..

now who looses?

End user, because he buys cheap product with lack of quality (expecting more quality that he knew, or partly heard of..) & small companies loose in terms of brand image..as not the looks of that "original product" is messed up.

IMAGINE this from Your perspective. SomeOnes takes Your work that You polished for few month..puth in their website, does not deliver..then the same client comes to You say: You motherf*&^er, can't do work, I don't wnat to work with You..

& You will stay without understanding why somebody is mad at You (You might not have seen Your potential client ever before, but Your "brand image" is ruined..because somebody messed up using Your IP =) but You can't defind Yourself, because You don't have money (work, clients that pay You) to go to cort & make a law suite.

I really hope user will wote with their wallets & TT will fail in sales..- that would be the best outcome (& from all the curent response on social networks & from retailers.. -that might happen, at least in enthusiast segment =)

glimpse: There's no lawsuit. This is legal. I can copy your work. There's plenty of precedent for that.

I sued employees for what appeared to be 'cut and paste' and they won. Unless you see them copying your documents, you've got nothing. (In my case, the evidence turned up in a forensic search of several PCs, showing various deleted versions of our products and theirs.)

Furthermore, if you go somewhere else, you can legally reproduce anything you've done before. (As long as there's no cut and paste.) The claim that you learned all about it at one company doesn't hold. We all learn something through employers, but they don't own what you learn. If you learn to spell better, that doesn't mean the company owns your better spelling. In software, programmers have a typical methodology that they use, so its no surprise to see what appears to be the exact same thing somewhere else. That's just the way they write code.

In any case, Karma's a bitch, and TT has a date.

CL has so many orders that they restrict colors to black only for couple of months. There is a post on facebook in this matter. Seems ThermalFake helped CL :)

While we are on subject of CaseLabs, Has anyone got their TX-10 DUAL system case.

I'm wondering are the left and right side of case connected with some rubber holes (can't see that on their WEB photos) ? Wha tI'm wonderign is Single Machine on left side and then 4 more GPUs only on right side whit USB PCI-X extenders. That way 7-8 GPUs Air Cooled in single case could be doable ?

Lewis -it's been my idea from the time I saw TX10:) And even 8 gpus more in 4U mount. This case is just crazy, but worth it.
