Four years and this is still the worst part of octane.
No other render engine advertised as unbiased has this problem.
When will we finally have proper glass transport through glass without the need to enable fake shadows etc.? This needs serious attention!!
Please fix light transport through glass OTOY!!

I used octane for glass later and I thought it was broken too, but after I increased the reflected bounces, the glass looked just perfect. Rise the bounces up to 32 and see if this solve your problems.
