I know that is an old question, but I have never found in the forum a clear rule about:
1) the max number of triangles (I suppose 19 millions)
2) the max number of polygons in the scene

Here in the example I have a scene with about 13M of triangles that render without problem.
But when I try to add another tree of about 1M triangles (also trying without its textures) I have a render failure error.
In the C4d scene I have a total of about 10M of POLYGONS (so I ask myself if the trouble is there)

I have setted the parameters in this way:
- resend only updated objects
- faster updates
- Check geometry: Enable/Auto
- about 4.7Mb vram of 12Gb
- plugin version 2.23.2 rc1

- LV refresh 500ms
- Performance timer 950ms
I have enclose these last parameters because is really really fast switchng between all the camera of the scene.
So I'm very happy of this , the scene is really huge full of trees , bushes and flowers as you can see in the image and I'm able to show to the customers all the project in real time!
So, great work Ahmet!
Now I really wish that the plugin will improve its stability working with heavvy scenes.
Or, if I have missed something in my workflow, to know where are my mistakes.
(as usual I could send you the complete scene for your test).

LOL, what's the stability issue? This error messages?
These are not a a plugin issue. It just show that there is a cuda error on Renderer. You should investigate and avoid from the reasons. Always you should check free vram on LV before making big additions. I can't see error message from console output?

Ahmet, first of all my message was surely not critic about the plugin, as I wrote I'm very satisfied about the performances of the plugin with big scene.
So I renew again my note about your precious work.

That being said:

1) as I said I have 4,7 Gb vram used and 12-4,7= about 7Gb free, so surely it's not a vram issue.

2) I asked about the total polygons limit and about the max triangles limit (that I know is 19M), so I think that this is a good chance also for you to explain to all of us, in clear way and in an unique specific post, how the things are.

3) In my specific case: I have a scene that render fine, then I add an object that shoud do not overpass the vram, triangles limit specification and surely without materials-related problem (because I have rendered it without materials), and I receive a Render Failure error, so my first thoughts are (as I wrote) that I have missed something in the plugin parameters or I don't know the exact limit specifications.

In any case here I have enclose thelog file, any help will be appreciated. thanks again.

Yes thanks for they. But when i read words about "stability" this makes the others obviously thinks about stability of plugin. Most of feedbacks or bug/issue reports are related with limitations of Renderer or Cuda. But that's a truth the limitations and i can't do anythings. Just i can cry to Otoy guys for that. But they have announced that to work about limitations. Again i see a Cuda error in log file as dialog said. Absolutely that's a texture or geometry problem. But i can't know what's it. This side is like a blackbox even Otoy guys can't know exactly. So you should try different scenarios to make it able to render.
