I read something about textures. What can I do for putting textures from 3d Studio Max to octane.
Have I build new ones?

i don't have used max since a long time but i think you have too create a uv map for each models before exporting, by using the "UVW MAP" and/or "UNWRAP UVW" tools in the modifiers list and after tweak them in octane...

May-be you confusing Texture and Shader? Texture its just a bitmap (or procedural map) but Gold its refractive shader. Octane have own shaders you can do Gold easy in octan but can trasfer 3dsmax shader.

shure you're certainly right radiance, it has been made on the fly for giving a starting point, and i certainly have to recalibrate my screen again
