I have a few questions for animation with Octane. With Vray I have solutions with renderfarms.

1) Is there or isn't there a Renderfarm for this? It's very confusing reading of a cloud version if it's for renderfarm or just people to use a cloud version.

2) Building a farm using the Titan X I have would get way to expensive, but if I go with something cheaper I don't have the Ram, and a lot of my scenes are huge, like to hear your guys opinions.

3) When exporting a scene from max to standalone, does standalone render faster, am I better off rendering animations like that?

4) can I load a few scenes to be batch rendered in Standalone so I don't have to be around to load scene by scene when the rendering is done for each?

I'm actually in the same situation. I can only answer your first question about render farms;
I recently inquired at http://ultrarender.com/. But they currently only offer workstations with 4x GTX 970 cards. I need at least 6GB VRAM so this wouldn't work for me. Also the difference in speed isn't that great compared to my current 2x GTX Titan black setup.
I'm doubting if I have to invest in one or 2 Titan X cards to solve the problem but I'd rather find a suited render farm service...

Thanks for the Info dvhouw, glad so see at least one render farm. Unfortunately the render farm seems to have some weak systems. not one system with high-end cards. I feel that without a solution to this I might be looking at going back to Vray. I really love Octane now after using it, but doesn't seem it has any solution for the final rendering for animation.
