I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro, just installed the Demo Version 64bit and create the folder "c4doctane" inside plugins on the CINEMA4DR16 folder. but I don't see the folder when I open Cinema4D. Any clue what's happening?

Do you have nvidia card and a driver 344.xx or bigger? Also your graphic card should not be too old.

ok, check your install and script console for any error message. I'm not sure 2.16 can support 980.

I have the same issue, C4D R16 with a GTX970. C4D does not load the plugin at all, no Octane menu, after plugin installation( "c4dOctane" is in the plugins folder). Console has no errors or any mention of Octane. Would really love to get this working.
Edit - Issue solved by updated C4D to the latest version.
