Hi Folks-
I'd love to test this software out, but I'm having trouble installing the CUDA drivers. This is on a brand new GTX 480 board. I've run the main Nvidia drivers (257.21_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_english_whql) and now I'm trying to install the CUDA drivers (devdriver_3.0_winvista-win7_64_197.13_general) It's erroring out during install saying something about not having the right drivers installed.

Have any of you had this issue? Running Windows 7 64bit.

Thanks! I'd love to get working with this software!

Not certain, but I think the cuda drivers are not longer needed as they are included in the latets nvidia drivers, the ones you got, I think radiance said something in another post, try searching for it. Or I'm sure someone with more knowledge can clarify it. ;)

Nope. After cuda 3 came out, and the newer versions of Octane, you no longer need the cuda drivers in windows. You still need the toolkit with Linux, and I'm not sure about OSX. You might need to go back to an earlier driver for the gtx480 as some have had issue with newer ones with Octane. Basically try it out and revert back to older ones if you have issues.

All systems are at stock speeds and settings.
