Hi all,

I have a issue with motion blur. I'm using the standard mb by setting Lw camera to use it and that is working fine. In IPR the blur looks as intended and matches with lightwaves motion blur/dof open gl preview. When I do an f9 render however the mb is really extreme, but only on certain meshes.

I have a character parented to a slow moving object, where the body and head are separate meshes. The head is blurring correctly but the body's mb is really over cooked. I've checked for random key frames which could cause the body to spin over one frame but that all seems ok.

As I said before the IPR looks right so not sure what's happening here.

Deadlines are looming so need to fix asap!!!

Any help on this much appreciated.

Thanks

Are you instancing an object that has its own animation? Instances inherit the MB of the base objet plus the MB of the instance itself. The problem is that the IPR doesnt show the instances MB and this could be the issue.

Anyway if you can send me the scene I could test it here. Be sure that you are not instancing an object with its own animation.

Also you can try to disable the "instance LW clones" option in the render target options panel

There was a problem in the plugin MB math in object with both transformations and deformations. We are testing it and It should be fixed now for the next release.
