I tried to export a 3D layer from PS CS5 extended as Wavefront file and imported it into octane. But the lights seem to be gone. At least I think so, because the model now is totally black. I just want the model to look as it did in Photoshop.
Would be cool to have an octane plugin or so for PS to work with octane.

I'm not familiar with the photoshop side of things, but octane currently only supports environmental lighting like hdris or the biult in sun/sky system. Also photoshop may not export materials with the obj so you may have to manually apply a new one in octane.

Is there any tutorial anywhere how to get a 3D model from PS into octane so it looks the same?

Man, this program is young and its been here for a very short period ...people who develop Octane have other much importat stuff to finish before req.like yours. So you need to be patient...Everybodys missing something and im sure that we will get it all we need is more time.
