Hey, I just recently purchased Octane for C4D and everything has usually been working fine, until later today when I rendered out a scene I had been working on earlier today. When i was working on it at the start of the day there were no issues with the render, however when I got home and began rendering again i noticed there was a noticeable amount of grain in the rendered image - I know it isn't because there aren't enough samples because I was rendering with a lower sample rate before and the issue didn't exist.
I've attached the rendered image in the post, the grain may not be noticeable so you might have to look a little closer, but the grain is simply a bunch of really small white/silver looking dots all over the textures used on the objects in the scene. If anyone can help out it would be great.
Grainy Renders in C4D - Please Help
Hey, welcome the forum.
as you know octane needs more samples for interiors especielly the dark ones. but there are also some tips like increasing light source sample, using hotpixel removal parameter under octane camera tag etc.. just give a try hope it helps.
