smicha-

Is this the system in the white case you posted? I'm curious what all you had to add for your GPU watercooling.

No. This is what I recommend to get from the scratch. My case is Case Labs SMH10 with an optional top (it is discontinued but STH10 is a greater choice). I recommended Phantex becasue it can handle 2x480 radiators - enough for 4x780. And costs 1/4 of STH10. But if you can afford STH10 - man, go for it. There is nothing better on our planet.

I'm not looking to spend extra on the case if it isn't necessary :)
So, what would I need to add to what you listed to get the GPUs OC'd and watercooled like you did?

Looks intriguing. Anyone heard a release date other than "Q2"?

I'm back to continue beating this topic. :)

Here's my question. If you were building a new machine from scratch, based on parts available today, and your budget was $2500, what card or cards would you get? (And... how would you cool that system inside that budget?)

It all depends on vram that you need. I think that 780 6gb are still best choice on the market unless you need 12GB and titan X. But to effectively cool 780 6gb you'd need waterblocks.

I'm fine living with 6GB. I just haven't seen 780s for sale anywhere... have you?
And if I can find one, what waterblock do you recommend for it?
