Octane VR vs. Octane Render

Am I right, that Octane VR is no other software than Octane Render?
Or am I missing something here?
For the Competition I use my regular 'Octane Render Software' + license and I redner with a 'panoramic cam' in 'cube map setting ' + stereo set to 'side by side'. right?

Yes, that's correct in a nutshell, although OctaneVR has a few more limitations than the normal version. Here you can find more information how to set up your pano stuff:
