Can throw my DK2 out of the windows. I guess I was a bit naive to hope that Octane will render real time to DK2.
Ok, maybe I’m the only one who do not have 1,5k euros for the next gadgetry
Then what was this all about? :

Just for the fun, we hooked up the rift in Octane some time ago and it was quite cool. We still have lots of things to do but we can dust off the old code if we have some time. We just can't promise when.
We couldn't ship it back then because the Rift was only supported on Windows.
Cheers,
Thomas

Use parallel stereo, set the IPD to .65 mm, use 125 degree thin lens camera + distortion at ~100%. Then use lens shift to swap the left and right views (on my Rift -.7 works). We're going to support the Rift more robustly via Lua. Please let me know if the prior info is helpful."

It is in a test build of the standalone right now, with support for DK1. We'll polish the feature with Dk2 support and see if we can make it usable by the plugins too.“
