I have loaded the drivers, (and updated them) and have loaded CUDA. I am getting this message, any thoughts?

Hi,

This means that octane cannot find the cuda toolkit/drivers.
you need to install both.
read the release notes, there's a link on the downloads page.

I have some problems too with 10.6.4. Every time i startup the computer it tells me that an update for CUDA is required. I guess for 10.6.4 CUDA 3.1 is needed but is not done yet i think. Also Premiere CS5 which is a x64 app stared to work with CUDA in 10.6.4 which in 10.6.3 didn't find any driver so it uses the CPU. I guess is an incompatibility between x64 and x86 or maybe not I don't know exactly, the problem is too weird.

octane requires the cuda toolkit and drivers for cuda 3.0 from http://developer.nvidia.com/object/cuda ... loads.html

bottom of page all versions 3.0 (not 2.3 or 3.1):

* Developer Drivers for MacOS
and
* CUDA Toolkit

octane works only with 10.4 or 10.5, not <10.4

Well here is were i saw CUDA 3.1 :?: http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvi ... river.html
Adds support for CUDA Toolkit 3.1 which includes significant performance increases for double precision math operations. See CUDA Zone for more details.
I guess we'll have to wait :lol: .

Any news on when Cuda 3.1 will be supported? I need it for development of other software, but I don't want to quit using Octane. :)
