Hi,
finally I understand that orbx it's a container that contains everything, from video to audio and 3d geometry.
I played with the Octane VR demo and I can't believe my eyes.
In the past I watched your demo videos but I couldn't understand the real power.
You, Otoy guys, are genius.
I'd like to know what are the full features.
What is the limit resolution? A single orbx file can contain a 4K exr 32fp video?
How the video part is handled? Full HDR?
Does it contain multitrack audio? What's the maximum bit rate?
Can be used for broadcasting?
Do you have plan to use this codec for software like DaVinci Resolve?
regards
Orbx forever

I totally second the OP. The demo on your home page is amazing. Putting aside the obvious resolution loss over the network when the image moves (which is not too bad anyway) it is almost like being in front of the machine. It is responsive and fluid, I have never seen anything so smooth before for this kind of products. It seems you truly have the solution for a remote workstation.
I never put too much attention to this in the past, but for sure I will keep a look on it from now on.

..considering all the good words from Carmac's talk in GDC I'm very much interested in this!
(sadly no hardware in hands to try this, but from all the technical bits & pieces I've read around these forums I bet the experience will be jaw dropping.. =)
Interested to lear more, so looking to those answers too =)
