what currently the best solution for laptop users is? I have to select one of these video card - gtx 970m or gtx870m. Is there any improvements for 900 series? or 870 is better one ? i can't find the laptop with 780/770. Or 870 is better for now?
OctaneBench would tell You all the story : 870M & 970M (so one is capable to output 35 other 52 =)
keep in mind that Your GPUs will be throttled down depending on how good Your laptop is capable to remove the heat.. - in some cases You might see different results =)
overall I would think of somkind of external piece - discrete GPU with SFX power supply hooked via mPCI, express card or even Thunderbolt =)

Ye, the 970 get less heat than 870 , so the result would be the same i guess , but life span in 970 will last longer...
about thunderbolt i heared there where some problem....
and mPci express has only heavy laptop and Im looking for some ultrabook like msi gs60 ghost
