I never claimed they did. I've been responding to Hydra's posts because I think DAZ's alleged culpability is a red herring and doesn't help at all.

And that is the reason why I made the extra effort to point out in full lenght once again how DAZ has let minorities like users who ask for advanced features down on so many occasions.
I think the interest in iRAY is based on a desire for bread and butter features like actually working animation rendering. The potential for OcDS to have much better features might be true but without the bread and butter ones speculation about the potential superiority of OcDS only seems to add to the frustration.

As far as I understood while reading trough all posts noone wrote that DAZ is the only one to blame for the latest delay.
Perhaps you haven't but I've been responding to Hydra. The point of my responses has been to emphasise the range of reasons you listed.
linvanchene wrote:One reason why we keep repeating the same things over and over may be because we hope that a lesson may still be learned and there is hope for improvement.
Another reason may simply be that sharing the frustration with other people who are in the same situation may just give some outlet to all the frustration that has built up.
So yes the reasonable thing may be to just let people shout until they are out of energy.
But sometimes I am just in the mood to shout back.
I also don't view this as a bad thing. These flare ups aren't the cause of the problem - the plugin delays are.
