Hello,
As I bought new nvidia card (only GTX750Ti, my old one was GTX285) I came back to Octane Redner and use its PMC great kernel! I couldn't do it before as my CUDA compile version was too old.
This GTX750Ti is more than 2 times faster in Octane than my old GTX285 - wich is quite logical due to CUDA cores count.
This is one of a carbon-aluminium case we produce.
In this particular case Octane made this jop far better and faster than vray.
Carbon material - I added an additional layer to mimic clear coat painting wich is not perfect in real (not like a mirror too much).
Octane Render 1.55, res: 2100x1100 px.
PMC render, 1074 passes, 54 min - but it was quite nice after 10 mins. Render time for me is very satysfying.
HDR lighing and one area light.
Carbon material is my own, I added an additional layer to mimic clear coat painting wich is not perfect in real (not like a mirror too much).
Thanks again Octane's creator for such a good software.
Regards!
Came back to Octane, first PMC render, new GTX.

what is this a case for? I can't quite figure out what i'm looking at! Curious if you tried with pathtrace at all or just went straight to PMC? I could be wrong but i'm not sure if PMC is doing anything for a shot like this other than slowing down render times. Regardless, nice looking image.
Ha, I noticed pmc to be rather faster on my spec. I thought PMC is more usable than path-tracing.
This is a violin-bow Case. Will post more pictures when it is ready to sell.
The silver elements you can see is cover for this tube-like case.
Thanks!
