Can we have HSV colour sliders as well as RGB for native Octane shaders in the next version please?
Also in fiddling with the slider interface (show sub-channels etc) my diffuse channel is now permanently stuck on Vector field with no way I can see to get it back to Octane RGB mode. I quit and restarted Cinema but all materials have a knackered diffuse channel interface!

For first req, it's not so easy to implement a interface as you say. We have a option to use c4d controls. You can fallback to native controls if you are not happy.sdanaher wrote:Can we have HSV colour sliders as well as RGB for native Octane shaders in the next version please?

thanks for the reply.
With the second problem my diffuse channel in all materials is stuck on a vector field (because I fiddled with the data display - right click and choose Show Sub-channels, then change display type to various option, float, 2d vector, octane float etc). There's no way to change it back.
Where are octane's prefs stored so I can delete and revert to the default? Ive tried removing the plugin and restarting cinema, but when I put the plugin back the diffuse channel is still screwed.

Oh gosh it's getting worse. I tried changing the slider settings (to Cinema 4D like) as you suggest and restarting Cinema to see if that would overwrite the prefs, but now Octane materials are completely broken, they don;t display ANY interface then Cinema crashes.

OK my Octane installation is now hosed. How to I reinstall/reinitialise the Octane plugin?

In preferences, here is a "open preferences folder" button. You should delete your "prefs" folder. Also i had to do this because my fiddling.

Yikes, I don't want to lose my Cinema prefs and rebuild it all. Is there a particular file in the prefs folder specific to Octane that I can delete?
An HSV option would be great
