May it be, that CUDA 7.0 causes problems?

I have installed newest NVIDIA drivers 350.12 and problems with loading textures. Sometimes they do not load and sometimes there is only some wired colors in the preview-node.

Do I have to backstep and install a CUDA 6.5 version like NVIDIA 347.xx ?

Is it possible to use fibers with lightwave3d 11.6.3 or do I have to upgrade to lightwave2015 ?

I am not sure about if Octane has problems with the new 350 drivers. I have not updated my computers yet. I think that can be safer to work with the last 347 drivers until we test the new ones.

Sorry, the FiberFX hair rendering is only available in LW 2015

after upgrading to OSX 10.10.3 i installed latest CUDA and webdriver and it all seems to work fine, at least with LW 2015 and latest plugin build. before i experienced some odd slow downs with 10.10.2 and first V7 CUDA release, this seems to be fixed now.

CUDA 7.0.36 and webdriver 346.01.02f01 with nvidia 780/ 980 cards

I don't know what the original poster exactly meant but I have scene with many image textures and other textures and I just updated to 350.12, no problems

Of course as I said I don't know the exact situation when the problem should occur so unless he tells me exactly what to do to see it, I cannot guarantee it but it seems that there is no problem related to Octane and latest NVIDIA driver

The problem may be caused by using lightwave11.6.3 with fibers. My mistake!
I must upgrade to lightwave 2015 for fur/fibers.
So the texture could not work with a fiber-node and only made crazy patterns in the node preview.

Today I ordered the lw2015. Thanks for support.

Ok, good to know, then there is nothing to be afraid of with latest NVIDIA drivers, nice

And yes LW2015 is definitely good to have, it is well done like all LW updates

I have problem with loading also with new drivers 350.12. so back to 349.90.

What kind of situation causes that? I have tried many scenes and I have no problem with latest driver
