I made a material with a texture based emission (Skyscraper night lit texture). No problems.
However, opting for a different texture, Octane wouldn't take the change and instead rendered it as a white emission.
I revert the scene back to the previous texture and it renders white again.

Only on restarting C4D does the previous texture work.
But changing it again, breaks the functionality until the next restart.

Weird? Known bug?

Top is desired. But needs a different colored emitter.
Bottom is teh result of a change.

This also occurs in multiple versions of the software. 'Stable' and 'Beta'.

I figured out after hours of tinkering, that Octane needed an absolute path to the texture.

Thanks for the vague response.
