First question, Does anyone have any recommendations on material/shader packs for Octane Render that someone has created or is selling?

Secondly, I'm fairly new to Octane, Is the Live DB regularly updated? I only seem to see a small handful of textures in each category. Some of them don't download correctly either. I was expecting a huge library of materials but at first glance I only see between 5-10 for each category. Some folders don't have anything in them. Just wondering what the deal is - is this the normal amount or should I be expecting a lot more?

Thanks for your help

You need to learn how to create materials, copy-paste does not exist in 3D world..unfortunately.
All this material in LiveDB are only example of material, you can learn a loot just looking in to every channel and how is created.
You have nice tutorial from inlifethrill : http://inlifethrill.com/trainings/octan ... cinema_4d/ and CurseStudio, try on youtube-vimeo.
This is more than enough for start.

Don't wait update on liveDB I am sure that will not be updated soon :)

Cheers.

I appreciate all the time that has already been spent creating the current textures, but would love to see a bigger library implemented. This was a considerable hook when purchasing the engine.

Thanks

I didn't realize that. Interesting.
Hopefully that will catch on.
