Hi,
i got octane render for Rhino® Beta + Standalone Combo yesterday. I use rhino for modelling. Octane works great in rhino scene. Problem is that If I open octanerender program alone and try to import 3dmodel from rhino (saved as object), it dosent work. I use right export selected command and save file as an obj.format. Octane I think reads it and brigs materials but there is only empy space. I try to view the object it is empty. Could you tell me what i do wrong here?
Thank you
import obj. dosent work

The best workflow for doing this is to open the scene in Rhino, open the viewport, the rightclick the settings tab tree and export to OCS. Then load that file into Octane Standalone,

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I did that too and same happened.
Materials and everything came, but the scene is agen empty. There is nothing. It says how many meshes there is, but not showing any. I have watch tutorials and I read the files but i can not solve this. What should I do? I tryed allso different kind of objects but it is not helping. I works exellent whit your test scenes, but not whit my files.

When you import is your scene centered? I know when I import the design does not show in the view port right away unless I click the little "reset camera view to default" button. If the materials/mesh is showing in your node editor then the object is there it's just not in view. Try selecting the node and clicking the button above.
Can you post an Orbx file for a scene that is not displaying any meshes pls.
Also, make sure your near clip depth is zero.
Paul
