The coolest feature would be to save the render as a layered .psd file with objects seperated by their material (or ID).
It could look like this (render from Gurmukh Bhasin on 3dtotal.com, http://www.gurmukhbhasin.com):

+1, although with Octane 3 apparently you will be able to save Layered EXR
