As opposed to some other tests I do for getting exact materials for specific purpose I'd like to share something else too =)

The aim is simply to learn thing or two about available material options, maybe experiment with more interesting shapes not to get bored by process..

Image

I've tried to avoid any lighting influence so picked flat white environment =) maybe I'l post some more shots as I go with low-key environment or something more creative =)

One more shot, this time with some even more interesting shape (You might see some mesh issues, but decided to leave as is as it looks like some sort of a sewing pattern =) - always wanted to try make something like this - wondered for a long time how guys do that!..

both mats are quite simple, honestly: that chameleon piece has rough reflections & the colors come from film (tweak Width & IOR). Soapy one has slightly different parameters + scattering going on. It's all to sa =)

Second image is made by trying to mix those two & play around messing things totally =DDD white edge was "dirt masked" & those weird artifacts.. - well, don't want to go through exporting this mesh again..

P.S. if interested I could host those mats to download, but I guess they are too simple..
(no maps, no special effects =) but if..someOne wants them..why not - just tell =)
