Problem w Poser-hair/transmaps

Sorry to also revive the old thread, but I also experienced this issue and was wondering what the heck was going on. I expanded the cap of the hair so that I thought there was no interference in the meshes, and I didn't see the issue with firefly.

Some quick points on this....1) Setting ray eplison to 0 should resolve most incidences of this problem. 2) The artifacts generally come from the skull cap, so you can make it invisible (in Poser, not Octane) and that should also resolve the issue.
