Using the Poser plugin, many simple materials are converted to Octane with many values appearing to be default, and not a value from Poser.

Most objects are imported as a Glossy material, and many values always the same:
Specular .05
Roughness .7
Bump .05

Others I'm sure, that's just what is burned into my brain. Poser has different values but these values are always the same. Is this normal, or is there something wrong with my system?

Poser Pro 2014 SR 5.1 64 bit, Windows 7, latest version Octane plugin.

You can edit OctaneDefaults.py if you want.

Poser has no equivalent to the specular and roughness values used by Octane, so as Zay indicated, these defaults are obtained by the plugin from OctaneDefaults.py. http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Poser/?page_id=32

OK, thanks. The defaults will help with workflow a bit, but that's a bummer that those vales can't get converted to Octane. Takes a bit to do that.
