working offline

Hi,

yesterday I had (the whole day) a total loss of internet connection(on part of the provider)
and could not work with Octane, because it wants to activated via Internet.

This is really very bad!

If I once have activated my license, I should be able to work offline!
Especially in such cases.

That's weird? I have no problems working offline.

Octane works offline for me as well. Only time I have to connect to the internet is when changing versions (installing newer versions) of plugin and standalone.

for Octane to work fine online don't change versions..
if You use some usb wifi adapter - that might cause some issues too..

overall system should work fine without internet =)
but I've seen quite some posts around here -
search for them & read through to get some ideas..
how to solve this. =)

Maybe I installed new version shortly after my connection loss.
Anyway, now its working without internet connection like you said.

it's good to to keep these things in mind for future, just to know..
(like changing versions or having internet card that makes mess..)
