It seem that every time i tick the "Enable Render Passes" on the motion blur is not being calculated.
Is there a way to render multipass and still have octane motionblur?
Also, is it possible to render a 1:1 screen space motion vector?

Of course you can see on Live Viewer's title. 2.16 was first version for renderlayer, propably don't supports that. Soon, I'm going to release 2.22.1. It has several changes for also layer system. Grap and test it.

Dough! Never thought about reading the title of the window =)aoktar wrote:Of course you can see on Live Viewer's title. 2.16 was first version for renderlayer, propably don't supports that. Soon, I'm going to release 2.22.1. It has several changes for also layer system. Grap and test it.
But the other question. If i want a motion vector pass where 1 offset in value is 1 offset in screenspace. Is there a way to render this out or convert based on the normal motion vector output?
i'm not sure that understand you question or aim. All output is here as you can see.

If you want to apply accurate motion blur in post you need to know how many pixels the current pixel is moving in screen space.aoktar wrote:i'm not sure that understand you question or aim. All output is here as you can see.
So if your base value (not moving) is 0.5,0.5 and your object moves 2 pixels to the left the motion vector should be -1.5,0.5
So if you want to make a 180 degree shutter motion blur, you just take the -1.5 / 2 = -0.75
In that case the pixel should be blured 0.75 pixels to the left.
Regarding the bug; it seems that when motion blur is active during multipass renders, its only the data passes that get the motionblur applied:
You could argue that it should be the other way around (Data passes not getting any motion blur, and beauity passes getting motion blur)

Sorry, don't you read my posts? Why are you comparing on 2.16?

I am so sorry, i did not know about the release section. I thought you meant that it was a upcomming release. I was just looking in the download tab under account settings.aoktar wrote:Sorry, don't you read my posts? Why are you comparing on 2.16?
