I think Octane render need an IRC channel :D
(maybe two, one public, one private for the upcoming beta users)

Its just a suggestion but I think a dedicated IRC channel where everyone can join and discuss about Octane render would be great, maybe for the upcoming beta release. That's another way to communicate, faster than the forum. Its also a way for users to speak to other users and get tips and share experience.

Admins like Radiance etc.. doesn't always need to be on the IRC channel (because they will need to answer more questions in IRC than in the forum and they are not Gods but Humans  ) The IRC can be managed by other people (choosed by Radiance or other admins)

It would mainly be for users to discuss about their personnal experience in Octane Render demo/beta and not for asking technical problems (there's already a forum for that)

For everyone that doesn't know what is an IRC or never used one im quoting Wikipedia
Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a form of real-time Internet text messaging (chat) or synchronous conferencing.
It is mainly designed for group communication in discussion forums, called channels, but also allows one-to-one communication via private message as well as chat and data transfers via Direct Client-to-Client
Basically you download a client on your computer, use this client to connect to the IRC channel and you can start to speak to other users online.

Very good idea, ive alwayus been fond of IRC.
Infact the vfx render plugin Brazil that I use in production work has an exelent IRC support and we ( crew ) have seperate closed rooms, its very good for development and social stuff.
