However, the with the GPU Conf. announcement of the X, Nvidia's head stated that the Z is still a card that one can purchase.
ou, I missed this somehow =) thanks for pointing out..
EVGA still lists the Z for sale, altho purchase limit is still listed as “1” and is subject to "Auto-NOTIFY." [ http://www.evga.com/Products/ProductLis ... ies+Family ] Nvidia's CEO recognized that earlier Titans have a niche to serve (higher DP compute needs) vs. the Z (high SP compute; but 1/32 DP): thus Z still is a better fit for DP compute needs and still deserves to be sold. Although I haven't yet began DP app programming to any significant extent, I still like the Zs, especially if they stay at the price point that I bought mine (~1450 avg-1600 avg : air vs. water) for space requirements and ~12,000 SP for both GPUs. Still, I plan on getting 8-12 Xs.
Because I have 180+ GPU processers in 16 tweaked/multiOS systems - Character limit prevents detailed stats.

I just received a screenshot that X goes even at 1528Mhz on core and 8000Mhz on memory at stock volts (during OctaneBench).
3090, Titan, Quadro, Xeon Scalable Supermicro, 768GB RAM; Sketchup Pro, Classical Architecture.
Custom alloy powder coated laser cut cases, Autodesk metal-sheet 3D modelling.

Here is the screenshot (with permission to show it here) from one of overclock users (Thangsanity).

Nice =) so, what is the score? (It's a bit hard to see as image seems to be low res, maybe on my phone only?)

It's a high res image (at least on PC :)) Score is 142.95

A little math:
142.95 * 8 = 1143.6;

150 * 8 = 1200;

160 * 8 = 1280

Talk about skewing that chart!

Plus, 1280 / 889.52 = 1.4389783253889 times better performance than GTX 780 TI ACX SC OC. That's nothing to sneeze at.
