I am trying to render some passes for an animation. But the "Rendering Pass: Beauty" is all I get? I can view the passes, but it will never change to rendering. I can save them from the viewport, but I don't want to go to each frame and save each render pass....

Am I missing something?

Thanks

I attached an image. It never switches the rendering layer, just stays on beauty. But I can "View" the other passes.

Click Kernel->Animation->Save Format and select Multi-layer EXR. All layers will then be saved in each EXR saved for the animation.

Ahh okay. Wasn't sure if there was another way. Got it working now. Glad they have EXtractor for After Effects!!

Is there any way to NOT render the beauty pass?

Thanks

Yes - use the InfoChannel Kernel.
