I'm sure octane v3 will be awesome.
Is there a demo video to show some of the features?
Also when can we test the beta?

Thanks!

Can we have some precision about news API support (AMD card OpenCL)?
Can you confirm we can use AMD cards with Octane 3 ?

Bless you. Like Apple doesn't make it hard enough for 3D artists already. We need all the help we can get! ;)

Do you have some benchmarks to compare with Nvidia GPUs ?
Can we expect similar or better performances with OpenCL against CUDA ?

As of right now, the info channels already work very fast on D700. The shading and lighting work is still ahead. Also AMD needs to fix a bunch of issues, which they are aware of and have been doing for us.

In theory, the performance should be similar, but we won't know have full confirmation of this until we are done with all the major work in v3. Brigade performs at the same speed on both AMD and Nvidia GPUs of the same class; it needed a full rewrite to get there vs. our first port to OCL. We are doing similar work with Octane.
