I have a similar problem since yesterday, IPR render up to 20 - 25 samples and reset to 0 and keeps looping like that. I'm Using WIN 7 64 bits and not Win 8.
I changed the plugin version to the 2.21.1 but nothing changed.
Any idea?

That must be something else, I have no such problem in Win7/64 (with latest win updates). Has that exact scene worked before or have you possibly changed something, especially settings? And have you booted your computer lately? Win7 is fine for 2-3 weeks but then it is best to rebootmarchermitte wrote:I have a similar problem since yesterday, IPR render up to 20 - 25 samples and reset to 0 and keeps looping like that. Nope, this is not the same problem. Do you have this behavior in all your scenes or with an empty scene?marchermitte wrote:I have a similar problem since yesterday, IPR render up to 20 - 25 samples and reset to 0 and keeps looping like that. I'm Using WIN 7 64 bits and not Win 8.

I juste tried and It works with previous scenes so I guess this behavior has to do with something in my scene. (even F10 / F9 renders stops at 99%)
I have lots of instances (grass and plants) but I turned them off and It still shows the same looping behavious after 20-25 samples.

Weird, can be something in the scene or in the render target. Can you please remove all the nodes of the render target and add a new default one?marchermitte wrote:I juste tried and It works with previous scenes so I guess this behavior has to do with something in my scene. If you want to send the scene to me I could test it here.

I tested, so no flickering in the IPR window
but information IPR are not displayed permanently...
I also find that the render is made per whereas before it was done gradually in the window...
I put a little video for you to see what I mean.
I didn't have this kind of problems with older versions.

Ok, I did deleted all of the Kernel nodes and rebuilt It but still, same problem... only the samples go up to 35 in direct lighting / ambiant occlusion mode and up to 13 for diffuse... so It seems It's not so much the samples but the time that counts (2 seconds loop). I will send a link to the scene, It's pretty heavy do I'll host It somewhere and pm you the link.
Thank you for your time!
