Hi,

I need to render a scene with some real light fixtures. The fixture selected is a linear LED (comes in 1' and 4' length) and multiple fixtures can be connected to a max of 125' in length (http://ecosenselighting.com/products/ec ... ar-hp-ext/)

I modeled a 1"x80' quad. I applied a diffuse material to it. In emission I use a black body, I loaded the IES file from the website in a greyscale image and plugged it the distribution node of the black body emission.

The fixture uses 8W/linear foot. My total run length is 80' so do I enter 8wx80'=640 watts in the power setting? or is there any way to enter 8w and specify linear foot as the unit.

Also when I load the IES file as a greyscale texture in octane, I get options to scale the texture etc. By scaling the texture what is it that I am affecting? I want to be as close as possible to the real fixture and for that do I need to make any changes here?

Thanks in advance
