Add some more reflection to the ring body
And add a HDRI to it. Make it look sexy XD

Diamonds and other high ior materials will be hard to pull off until we get spectral dispersion working, but for now there are a few things you could do to improve the gold.
Radiant has the right idea with the hdri, the one you are using now seems to have good contrast, but I would suggest something with more light sources to give more highlights on the metal.
For the ring itself I would change the model to get rid of the sharp edges, and decrease the roughness to make it less matte. maybe use a darker yellow to further increase the contrast in reflections.
I'm no pro but this is just what I would do to improve this image.
