Question regarding uv sets in Cinema 4D and/or Octane plugin
Moderators: ChrisHekman, aoktar
Hello guys, I was wondering if is there a way to use multiple UV sets in the same material. Ideally what I need to achieve is to have the normal map on one UV set and the Diffuse on another UV set.

Octane standalone support max 3 set, it's a new feature. But plugin does not support it. It's pretty complex because this limitation and material assignment system of C4D. There is not any parameter to set it. You can check projection textures of Octane. It allows to set uv mappings for each textures.

Hi aoktar,
are there still no multiple UV sets possible in the C4D plugin?
There is a setting in "Texture Projection" for choosing the UV set. How does it work (if it works)?

I tried it a few week back, with no luck, but I too noticed is there! Hope someone can share some knowledge to how to use it (if is working). Or if possible, a way to use the UVW tag names for determine which UV set to use like Arnold does, would be great!
