Total noob but trying my best

I'm trying to use a simple texture emmision to create a TV screen in a scene.
whenever i choose an image texture on the texture emmision it appears really washed out and too bright no matter what gamma or power i choose.
The image has quite a lot of black in it and when i up the gamma or power it just washes the black out to light grey.

Im using DL for the speed.

I have to produce quite a lot of screens on a regular basis and I just cant seem to get this to work.

Image im trying to use is below. Then a quick preview of what it looks like in the scene.

Does anyone have a simple television material or advice they could share please.

How are you setting up the material?

The image should go into the diffuse of your material and also the distribution node on your emission.

You just put a black or dark gray in diffuse channel.
In emission channel enter a texture emission and choose a texture as emitter.
