I have several hair projects, and they all render as expected in live preview.
But when I press F12 instead, I get a black image.
If I add a cube and press F12 again, it renders the cube and the default Octane background - but the hair object is still not rendered.
What's wrong?
Live Preview Render works - F12 doesn't [SOLVED]

NOW it gets weird...
I just added a default cube to the project, and suddenly Octane could render the entire scene for the first time - hair object as well as cube!
Then I deleted the cube and rendered the scene again - and got the black image again...

"Real world camera", "Focus distance", "Center of screen as autofocus point", "Checking"...
Sorry, I'm tired to repeat all this...
You are working with almost the real world camera in unbiased renderers, so make sure you have real wold values for that. The cameras in real world can never have the focus distance "0" or get the focus from the focus point looking into the infinity and never intersecting any objects.
