Is this going to be fixed ever? It's pretty much 100% broken especially if you try to use it on CAD Models.
I think you are trying to use non watertight models. Rounding on the GPU is more restricted than the same on CPU. If the GPU thread does see the triangle that doesn't have the common edges with another one - it can't see what edges must be rounded and there is no data for it about how exactly they must be rounded.sethRichardson wrote:especially if you try to use it on CAD Models.

Hope this is something that gets worked around or fixed. Since I work primarily with CAD data. I bring them sealed up so they in theory should be water tight.... model printer prints them just fine after all.
This is literally the one feature that is a must have and is the one feature that keeps me from using Octane as a primary engine for work.
