I know this has probably been asked before, but I did a search and couldn't find any answers, just wondering if its possible to submit materials to LiveDB and if so... how?
Yes, this is done via the standalone.
You need to create a node graph (right click on scene graph and select "node graph") with a material output inside (take a look at any liveDB material as an example).
Then right click the node graph and select save - the save dialog should have a LiveDB option. Material previews will be generated automatically our end after some time, before this is done your material's preview image in the liveDB will be an X.
Try to select the appropriate category when saving your material (anything except the OTOY categories should work).

Thanks for the info! I assume it automatically uploads any texture maps?
