I mean gpu is great , but a little help from the cpu would also be nice right ?

I'm guessing that CPU integration would result in a major slowdown. The advantage might be the ability to render much larger scenes but that is all.

CPU help would come from openCL support, which is further down the road. Really though you wouldn' get much of any improvement, just look at the Arion vs. Octane threads.
