Hello

I try to render out a glass with a fluid in, the background is black. I have a lot of noise in the highlights...
I tried DL and PT and come to render times from 15 minutes one gtx 980 and still have some noise...
Especially the blurred parts out of focus are very noisy ...
Is there a trick how to get rid of the noise??
I am using 2.16.2 on mac 10.10.2

thank you very much for any help

lot of settings and options here. How do you illuminate this? What about gi_clamp, coherent ratio, spec depths, etc..

DL or PT. Hard to estimate results without materials. But looks very noisy. You should check it under different lighting situations. Best way to understand what causes this noises. I do that everytimes and never giveup.
