My Animation crashes Octane server at frame 60. This also occurs when I try a still render for frame 60. Everything before frame 60 renders fine. And I tested random frames after 60 and those seem to render fine too (I am continuing to render my animation at frame 61 right now and will see if it makes it all the way through to frame 180).

This is using the latest Blender Octane release with server version 7.2 on OSX 10.9.5. The only error message for Blender in console is “Octane: ERROR starting render.”

On the server side, terminal console’s only error is “Segmentation fault: 11”.

OctaneServer v. 7.2

Octane: Starting Octane engine...
Octane: ...started
Octane: Activating license...
Octane: found stored license info...
Octane: ...activated
Octane: LiveDB cache refresh started...
Octane: LiveDB cache refresh complete

Segmentation fault: 11

I can provide source files, but it is a fluid simulation and is 1.38 GB with the sim cache files (maybe those aren’t necessary?).

Yes, it could be good to have your scene (with all textures packed).
You could upload it to mega.co.nz

Ok Jim. I can upload that to my server. I was able to render the rest of the animation (all but that one frame, which is still crashing Octane Server). This was just a test so it's not a priority or for a job or anything but if it was something I did wrong it would be good to know. And as it turns out the simulation was rather flawed after viewing it rendered.

Is there a direct e-mail where I can send you the link when the files have completed uploading?
