I'm having the exact same problem as Mojo. Although tested with one Gtx 470 and one Gtx 285 but I think its the same issue.

Hi guys,

I'd recommend to check your nvidia control panel settings and make sure SLI is off, remove any SLI bridge connectors and enable physx.
We're changing a few things in the upcoming 2.3 version which should make solve these issues.

thats it, got it now, installed octane b2.2, the latest nvidia drivers and the cuda toolkit, the sli bridge i had removed sometimes before, enabled physx and now I`m enjoying about the heat coming out of my system, produced by two running GTX Cards :D

The temperature is insane, think about to install additional fans, even the wooden floor behind the case is in a range of 20 cm really hot, unbelievable.

With the b2.1 release I had to disable physx to see the second card, but yesterday I detected that the two cards together running got the same speed than only one card, after radiance advice the problem had been solved.

Thank you Radiance!!!
It´s really impressive how much patience you got to solve any problems of the octane users. Never got such a support, post a question an just get an answer, GREAT!!! Hope you and your Team get the success you deserve.
Best regards

Similar multi-GPU issue. I can't get Octane to use all three GPUs.

Here's another data point:

I am on the bleeding edge and running CUDA 3.1b, Driver 257.19.

I have 3 cards: 2 x GT240's with monitors connected. 1 GTX 470 without a monitor.

All 3 cards are recognized by Octane and I am able to assign them as "Active".

But as soon as I start rendering or restart Octane, I'm back to a single GPU (a single GT 240) in the Active list and the other two cards are Inactive.

Otherwise, I'm psyched to see how 3 GPUs are going to perform!

[Edit: I'm running Win7 x64 ]

I have the some problem with 2 GTX 460, with 2 different OS: XP and Vista. SLI is disabled and PhysX enabled. I`ll try to remove the SLI conector.

Hi,

For the demo version (2.2) you might want to try with some older drivers as it's built against cuda 3.0 and older drivers,
just install the same ones we recommend in the installation video, which you can find on the downloads page.
